Provide personalized patient care with an efficient
process for RTM reimbursement
The landscape of healthcare is at a crucial juncture, with the traditional fee-for-service model no longer yielding the same profitability for private practice clinics and driving up costs for insurers and their beneficiaries. In response to these challenges, the industry is recognizing the urgent need to fast-track the transition towards value-based care (VBC). The primary objective of VBC is to deliver superior patient outcomes at a reduced cost for both patients and payers.
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) involves tracking and collecting non-physiological patient data using authorized, connected medical devices. According to the 2022 final rule, this data includes musculoskeletal system status, respiratory system status, therapy adherence, and therapy response. Patients can also input data themselves through these connected devices and software. This self-reported information is invaluable for therapists as it helps them monitor factors such as pain levels, therapy tolerance, and other relevant details throughout the treatment plan.
A pivotal component of advancing individualized care, improving health outcomes, and enhancing cost efficiency is the capability to expand musculoskeletal treatment beyond conventional clinic settings while ensuring appropriate reimbursement. To facilitate this evolution, Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) codes have been introduced to provide support for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists beginning in 2022.

Automatically track billing requirements for each CPT code, eliminating manual tracking and decreasing work for physical therapists. This streamlined process also ensures timely billing.
Automatically tracks RTM activities and generates SOAP notes, reducing documentation burdens for physical therapists
Strengthen the bond between patients and therapists by offering personalized care and communication outside of clinic visits. This helps patients stay committed to therapy.
Establish an additional revenue source beyond clinic visits. Therapists can also utilize RTM during cancellations and no-shows to maintain patient engagement and continuity of care, further maximizing revenue potential.
Prescribe HEPs through the app to save time on printing and reprinting. This helps reduce concerns about paper loss and non-adherence, and enhance therapist efficiency.
